At Klahanie & Company, we have been serving the wonderful people of the Comox Valley for nearly two decades.  We are compassionate, honest, patient and enjoy making a difference in the lives of the clients we serve.

We look forward to helping you with the normal everyday "to-do's" such as running to the post office, getting groceries, picking up dry cleaning, walking the dog, waiting for the repair person, or any other errand or task you might not have time for.  

Let us put a smile on your face, take the hassle out of doing errands and give you back your time and your independence so you can get on with the things you really enjoy.

Most of us run errands several times a week. For a lot of us it’s a hassle we could do without. What if you could have someone run them for you, saving you precious time and energy?  

For a variety of reasons, you may not be able to run errands.  Perhaps you are dealing with mobility issues, have young children occupying your time at home, or you have on-site workers or contractors and can't get away. Maybe you are dealing with pregnancy, you are swamped at work, or you are out of town a lot. You may not be feeling 100% or you are recovering from an injury and want some help getting through the week.  

For these reasons and more, you may need an extra helping hand from time to time and we can assist.

Executor Assistance

Assisting Executors with the multitude of  tasks in settling an Estate.  Essentially, we are the Executor's feet on the ground. We can help with everything from Funeral Arrangements to dealing with the personal home and vehicles, to working with professional services such as lawyers, insurance agents, realtors, appraisers and various other service providers, and so much more.  

Executor Assistance is particularly helpful for those Executors who do not live locally, who may have language barriers, or for those who may be too busy to complete the minutiae of tasks in a timely manner.

Existing Service Providers

 As an existing service provider such as Home Care, you may need a little extra help from time to time with your clients and don't have enough staff.

* Please note, many of our services are very useful for out-of-town owners at Mt. Washington.  Sometimes it is hard to get to the mountain to deal with an issue and someone close by is needed to help out.  We have expert knowledge of the mountain and are excited to be your 'go-to' mountain assistant.

Comox Valley General Rate

By the hour plus the cost of any purchases or services, if applicable.

Mt. Washington General Rate

"Flat Fee"which includes travel to and from the mountain and the first hour of service, plus cost of any purchases or services, if applicable.

Special Rates

Ask us about package rates.

Additional Rates

May apply for errands outside normal business hours or on holidays, or for a rush service (something that needs to be done within two to four hours of the call).

Cancellation

If an errand is cancelled within 24 hours of the time you were scheduled to perform the errand, a cancellation fee may apply

Deposit 

A deposit for services and purchases may be required.
